CAIBA has made the necessary investments to continuously develop and implement a series of programmes and actions to protect the environment. The aim is to minimize the impact of our activities and ensure we contribute to protecting and improving the environment by complying with the requirements established by local, regional, state and European legislation.

One of the main actions we have undertaken in this respect is to develop our integrated plant policy, which not only represents considerable savings for our clients in terms of costs and logistics but also minimizes the impact of activities such as transportation and packaging, reducing them by more than 90% and thus contributing towards the protection and improvement of the environment.

CAIBA also plays an active role in developing various environmental projects, such as the CARBONFOOTPACK programme set up by ITENE, the Packaging, Transport and Logistics Technology Institute of the Valencian Community. The main aim of this programme is to ascertain the parameters that have the greatest impact on the environment in terms of the emission of greenhouse gases, based on calculating and hence minimizing their carbon footprint and contributing to protecting and improving the environment.
